About the role

Capabilio grows when students try it and tell other students. Behind every college we work with is a group of students who first heard about it from someone they trust. You will be that person on your own campus and in your own network.

You will help introduce Capabilio to students and their colleges, learn what makes people sign up and keep coming back, and report honestly what works and what does not. Nothing here is a script: the plan is to try small things, measure them and keep what works.

You will work with the founder and, as the team grows, the partnerships team, and learn how a product earns its first users. It is an unpaid internship, so we keep the scope clear and the learning real.

What the work looks like

A week usually has three parts.

Reaching out: introducing Capabilio to a club, a class or a group chat, and answering questions from students who are curious or unsure.

Measuring: counting how many people actually signed up and came back, not how many said they liked it.

Reporting: a short written note on what you tried, what happened and what you would do next. If something did not work, say so; that is useful to us.

What you will do

  • Introduce Capabilio to students on your campus and in your network
  • Help students get started and answer their questions
  • Run small, honest outreach experiments and write down what worked and what did not
  • Write a short weekly note on what you tried and what happened
  • Collect student feedback and share it with the product team
  • Support introductions and follow-ups with colleges

What you bring

  • You are a current student or recent graduate
  • You are comfortable talking to people and writing clearly
  • You are reliable: you do what you said you would
  • You report numbers honestly, including the disappointing ones
  • You can commit steady hours each week for the length of the internship

Nice to have

  • You have led or organised a club, community or event
  • Content or social media skills
  • Knowledge of how colleges in your region make decisions

Your first proof

After we read your application, this is the kind of problem you would work on. You see it now so nothing is a surprise.

Pick one group of students you can reach, such as a club, a class or a community. Tell us how you would introduce Capabilio to them, what you would measure after two weeks, and what you would do if nobody signed up.

Your first months

  • Week one: learn the product as a student and try every step yourself
  • Weeks two to four: run your first small outreach experiment and report the numbers
  • Month two: repeat what worked and drop what did not
  • Ongoing: introduce us to the right person at your college

How we work

Capabilio is a small team building something people use to make real decisions about their careers. That shapes how we work.

  • Show evidenceWe back claims with something real: a test, a number, a link, a user. When we do not know, we say so.
  • Be honest about what is not workingBad news early is useful. A bug, a wrong question or a missed deadline is easier to fix when we hear about it.
  • Keep the next step clearEvery task ends with a clear next step and an owner, so nothing sits waiting.
  • Own your workYou are trusted with real problems and expected to see them through, and to ask for help early.

What you can expect from us

  • Clear scope for each task
  • Direct feedback on your work, including what is not working
  • A direct line to the founder
  • An answer from us either way after your interview
  • This role is hybrid. We will agree the details of when and where we work together before you accept.

How we interview

Four steps, in this order. You always know which one you are in.

  1. 1Send proofSomething you organised or grew, however small: an event, a club, a community or a campaign. Tell us what happened.
  2. 2We read itWe look at what you did yourself and what you measured.
  3. 3Plan for one groupThe brief under Your first proof: how you would introduce Capabilio to one group, what you would measure, and what you would do if nobody signed up.
  4. 4Talk it throughWe go through your plan together. Either way, you hear the answer from us.
